Free masterclasses in business fitness in a recession announced
LAW firm Berwins and Armitage Corporate Solutions are to host a business fitness in a recession seminar.
The event on February 24 at the Yorkshire Hotel in Harrogate will see Christopher Newton, partner and head of Berwins dispute resolution team, and Tony Armitage deliver presentations on business best practice.
The free seminar begins at 8.30am after registration and refreshments and is due to finish at 9.30am.
Mr Newton said that businesses can take steps to ensure commerical optimisation and achievement of long-term goals.
“A key message is be alert to alarm bells ringing and the key indicators to watch out for before they ring too loudly and what the implications might be for your business,” he adds.
“The emphasis will be business progression from credit crunch to recession and, finally, back to normality.”
Mr Newton will also be speaking at a forum following up recent seminars held by Berwins on recovering debts by looking in more detail at issues which lead to disputes, understanding them, avoiding them and ensuring payment is made.
The forum – ‘Breach of Contract and your options if it all goes wrong’ – is on February 23 at the Yorkshire Hotel starting at 8.30am after registration.
Berwins managing partner Paul Berwin, is the principal presenter at a upcoming master class on IT issues.
The first will be held at the Innovation Centre, York Science Park on February 20 with the second at the Round Foundry Media Centre in Leeds on March 3.
