Latest Appointments: Commercial director for Seabrooks, Senior appointment at RFG and more

BRADFORD-based crisp manufacturer, Seabrook Crisps, has appointed a new commercial director.

Philip Devine joined the company from his position at Dextra Solutions as sales director, having previously held commercial roles with food companies such as Jacobs Bakery.

He replaces John Tague, who held the position until his recent promotion to managing director.

THE Regional Food Group (RFG) for Yorkshire and Humber has appointed an interim commercial director.

John Hendy will be responsible for providing commercial support for RFG’s food and drink industry members in the region and directing RFG’s Deliciouslyorkshire brand.

Mr Hendy previously held the role as business development director at Hull-based William Jackson Food Group for the Aunt Bessie’s range.

Chief executive of RFG, Jonathan Knight said: ” John has an impressive background in the food and drink industry and huge experience in marketing and communications.

” In these challenging times, it is important we have strong leadership for the team to promote food and drink in the region.”

MCCALLUM Layton, the marketing and research insight consultancy based in Leeds, has promoted an existing team member to the position of partner.

Julia Horlov, head of qualitative research, will continue to lead the qualitative team whilst taking up a more strategic position at board level.

McCallum Layton founding partner, Duncan McCallum said: “Julia’s promotion to partner is testament to the great contribution that she has made to our business.”
