BREAKING NEWS: Jobs saved as garlic bread manufacturers bought

TWO garlic bread producers have been bought out of administration securing 45 jobs.
The joint administrators of Hull-based Land Food Products and Lewis Hegel have sold the businesses to Riva Foods.
The companies went into administration as a consequence of rapidly increasing costs and a significant loss making contract.
Mark Loftus and Ian Green of PricewaterhouseCoopers were appointed joint administrators to the companies earlier this week.
Mr Loftus, based at PwC in Hull, said: “We are delighted to announce the successful sale of as a going concern, which has helped secure the future of 45 jobs in Hull.”
Paul Lempriere, chief executive of Riva Foods, said: “After so many recent announcements of job losses in Hull and East Yorkshire, Riva Foods is delighted that we have been able to secure the future of 45 jobs.”
