Expansion at Wensleydale Heifer

ONE of the first boutique hotels in the Yorkshire Dales has completed a £400,000 expansion.
Owner and chef David Moss has transformed a house neighbouring the Wensleydale Heifer into four themed bedrooms.
The investment was planned during the recession and put into action ready to take advantage of the recovery.
Mr Moss said: “The response to these new super-deluxe rooms has been outstanding, and we are already booked up more than a month in advance.
“I knew that the recession would not last forever and that investment was needed to help spur growth when the recovery started, so I was ready and waiting when the time came.
“There is nothing like these rooms in the Yorkshire Dales, so the combination of such luxury, award-winning food and the stunning surroundings makes us a must-visit destination.”
Mr Moss bought the 17th Century Inn in West Witton four years ago. The new rooms include one on the theme “Champagne” boasting a fridge stocked with 16 bottles and “A Night At The Movies” with a 46 inch 3D television.
