Appointments: Association role for Forgemasters manager; New faces at Bluestone Leasing and more

THE new chairman of the British Manufacturing Plant Constructors Association is a senior sales manager at Sheffield Forgemasters.

Mick Holloway has more than 30 years experience in the steel and engineering sectors and has been a member of the association since 2008.

He takes over from Kevin Parkin who steps down after serving a two year term.

Mr Holloway said: “Kevin, and vice chairman Mike Sorby, have helped guide the association through one of the worst economic recessions in modern times.

“The association, as a result of their efforts, is now in much better shape to proceed with confidence into the next decade and I look forward to playing a major part in its continued development.”

BLUESTONE Leasing has appointed two new business relationship executives.

Lee Hare and Liz Barton will be based at the firm’s Wakefield head office and will be responsible for liaising with existing clients as well as new business development.

Managing Director Vineesh Madaan said: “Liz and Lee are two bright and ambitious graduates who will bring a lot of enthusiasm to their new roles.

Manor Property GroupYORKSHIRE developer Manor Property Group has hired Mark Bailey as part of its drive to expand the company’s hotel portfolio.

Mr Bailey has spent the past eight years in the hotel property industry working for Knight Frank and previously Christie + Co. Prior to this he was in operational hotel management.
