New recruits at Wilson Field mirror growth

A BUSINESS turnaround and insolvency specialist has expanded its workforce by almost 20% as it claims it is bucking the national trend in the insolvency industry.

Wilson Field, based in Sheffield, has appointed nine new staff to work across all sectors of the company bringing the total workforce to 51 and expects annual turnover to reach £4m in its current financial year.

Established in 2001, the business has recently expanded to operate out of a Leeds city centre base.

James Alger, Debbie Burton, Karis Hodgkinson, Ansar Mahmood, Yvonne Walton, Jade Ryan, Sally Ann Banks, Shelley Mallett and Rob Poyton have joined the team from various backgrounds, including insolvency, law and HRMC.

Nick Wilson, managing director of Wilson Field, said the firm’s growth had come despite recent third quarter figures from the Insolvency Service which revealed that administrations were down 35% from the same period last year.

Mr Wilson said: “We’re thrilled to welcome eight new staff through our doors at this exciting time for Wilson Field. They have a wealth of experience across different sectors and they will no doubt make a significant contribution to the development of the company.

“We continue to achieve record turnover figures and that is in no small part down to our strong team. We have built a reputation for professional and personal service as well as exceptional industry knowledge. The company is expanding and developing at a fantastic pace and I’m looking forward to seeing that continue.”

Wilson Field offers business recovery, insolvency and personal debt services for businesses, individuals and commercial organisations.
