Appointments: Schofield Sweeney hires partner; New face at Stowe Family Law; and more

LAW firm Schofield Sweeney has added to its employment law service after hiring Alex Clements as a new partner.

Ms Clements has practised as a lawyer in Leeds for more than 14 years, specialising in all aspects of employment law.

Prior to joining Schofield Sweeney, she worked at two major national law firms in the city and two regionally based practices.

She said: “I am excited to be joining Schofield Sweeney. Employment law has always been a constantly changing landscape which presents numerous challenges to businesses in the face of heavy financial penalties for non-compliance.

“In the current economic climate this is particularly acute and company directors and HR managers need to know that they have access to fast, accurate advice from lawyers who understand the business’s objectives.”
