Cardiff personal injury lawyers are over the moon after Wales Legal Awards success
The team from Cardiff personal injury solicitors firm, Mooneerams, are celebrating their fantastic achievement of being named Personal Injury Team of the Year at the prestigious Wales Legal Awards, held last Friday evening at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel.
Mooneerams Managing Director Alistair Worth and his colleagues faced stiff competition from three other strong finalists, each hoping to win the top honour. In the end, Alistair led his team onto the stage before a packed audience to receive their award from John Hyde, Deputy News Editor of the Law Society Gazette.
The evening was hosted by the popular BBC TV presenter Sian Lloyd.
The Wales Legal Awards were founded in 2019 to celebrate the success of Welsh law firms and individual lawyers who go above and beyond providing whilst legal services to the people of Wales. The winners of each category are chosen by a panel of judges from across the legal sector.
After receiving the award, Alistair Worth said that for once, he was left almost speechless, but he did manage to say:
“This September, it will be Mooneerams 20th anniversary, and so to win this top award in the same year is a remarkable feat.
Mooneerams still has the same philosophy now that it did back in 2002; to help the innocent, injured victims of accidents that are not their fault and recover compensation from the insurers of the person (or company) responsible for those injuries. We try to put right, wrongs – and most of the time, we do that.
My colleagues at Mooneerams deserve this award. They are a small, tightly knit group of exceptional lawyers combined with a super-efficient support team. More importantly, they are all smashing people, and it is a pleasure to work with them.”
