Leeds wealth management firm recognised in national awards

Yorkshire-based boutique discretionary investment firm Myddleton Croft has been shortlisted in three categories within the prestigious Citywire Investment Performance Awards 2017.

The annual wealth performance awards are renowned in the investment sector with hundreds of entries received every year for the seven categories. As well as being short listed for both the Growth Strategy Award and for the Balanced Strategy Award, Myddleton Croft is also one of just three firms throughout the UK selected for the Best Small Firm Award.

Unlike many industry awards, those shortlisted for the Citywire awards are chosen based on independent performance research.  The respected analysis by performance research firm ARC is strictly quantitative, focusing on risk-adjusted performance over a three-year period. They are awarded to managers who deliver consistently great performance for their clients.

“It is a real honour for Myddleton Croft to be given national recognition in this way,” comments Julie Jones, managing director of Myddleton Croft.  “Our investment strategy, led by investment director Patrick Toes, has proved sound over many years with clients and their advisers consistently benefitting from working with a small, proactive firm which is able to make investment decisions quickly in response to changing global situations affecting the wider economy.

“We are extremely proud of our team, not only to be shortlisted for three prestigious awards, but also of the continued strength of our asset performance.”

The winners of Citywire Investment Performance Awards 2017 will be announced at a ceremony at the Wealth Manager Retreat to be held at The Grove, Chandler’s Cross in Hertfordshire, on 12/13 October.

Myddleton Croft has grown to a nine-strong team, working with independent financial advisers, solicitors and accountants, throughout the North of England and further afield who use the firm’s investment management expertise to complement their existing financial service propositions.  It serves private clients, charities, pension funds and trusts.
