The 2024 World Juniors are here, as one of the most exciting hockey tournaments is set to take place in Sweden. The competition is a chance not only for the top teenagers in the world to showcase their talent, but also an opportunity to bring a championship to their country.

Canada enters this year as back-to-back gold medalists, coming off an overtime win over Czechia in the 2023 gold medal game. There has been no country to three-peat at the World Juniors since the Canadians ripped off five in a row during the late 2000s.

It’s no surprise that Canada is a favorite again to win the tournament, along with the USA, host country Sweden and Finland. The action all begins on Dec. 26.
