Miller set to hit housebuilding target

Miller Homes Midlands sasy it is on track to meet its target of building 677 new homes to the region by the end of the year.

During the first six months of 2017, the firm built 330 homes, with a further 347 set to be built during the remainder of the year.

Miller has sold 587 properties so far during 2017, with a further 237 properties sold already for 2018.

So far this year, Miller Homes has launched new developments in Knights Chase in Ashby, Leicestershire and the second phase of Highfields in Littleover, Derby.

Alastair Parsons, sales director at Miller Homes Midlands, said: “Our sales advisers have been inundated with enquiries from prospective buyers, from young couples taking their first steps on the property ladder, to families looking for a more spacious home.

“Last year, we built 600 homes in the region and we are set to repeat that success in 2017. The Midlands remains a popular location for many buyers, thanks to its stunning countryside, vibrant cities and strong transport links.

“At Miller Homes, we work hard to enhance communities, so as well as building houses, we also improve local amenities. In Streethay, for example, we’re now well on the way to delivering a state-of-the-art primary school for 262 children close to our Roman Heights and Cathedral View developments.”
