£14m manufacturer builds new offices in Langley Mill

Modular building manufacturer AVDanzer has invested £200,000 in new office facilities at its manufacturing site in Langley Mill.

AVDanzer has built and installed ten of its HighLine modular units to create 3,300 sq ft of accommodation. The new building includes office space, meeting rooms, reception, print room, first aid, store, WC facilities, two canteen areas and changing facilities for the production staff.

The new office was built on site by AVDanzer and was installed and ready for occupation in just one day, allowing staff to easily move over from the old office to the new facility on the same day. The old office, is being been demolished and additional car parking spaces have been created for the growing team.

Across the site further works have also been undertaken to expand some of the production areas as well as investment in a new steel guillotine and press to improve steel productivity.

At its Manchester office AVDanzer has also leased a further 7,500 sq ft of land to provide extra storage, preparation and maintenance areas for its anti-vandal units. The units are manufactured at Langley Mill and are hired and sold to some of the UKs leading construction firms and provide state of the art welfare facilities, storage and office space.

Director Helen Scott said: “The business has grown rapidly in recent years and the offices at Langley Mill were no longer fit for purpose. We decided to build and install a new modular office which will accommodate the team for at least the next 30 years of trading. Creating a modern, comfortable working environment was essential and the staff are delighted with the new working space we have created. In addition, we have made further investment at Manchester and at our London sites to shore up the business for future growth and expansion.”

The company started out in 1987 and has continued to evolve over the last 30 years. In 2016 it rebranded as AVDanzer and now employs 100 people across its sites in Manchester, Nottingham and London and has a turnover in excess of £14m.
