Nestlé to move to 600,000 sq ft unit at East Midlands Gateway

Swiss food and drink giant Nestlé is to become the first major tenant at the Segro Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway, according to reports this morning.

Property Week says that SEGRO and Roxhill has signed Nestlé up via third party logistics operator XPO Logistics to taje 600,000 sq ft at the site, which is next to East Midlands Airport.

Nestlé will relocate its UK base from Bardon, Leicestershire.

East Midlands Gateway has planning permission for up to 6m sq ft of logistics space and includes a 50-acre rail freight interchange.

Burbage Realty, CBRE and Savills are acting as joint agents on the scheme.
