Derbyshire pub up for sale for £675,000

The former pub in Staveley

A former Derbyshire pub which has planning permission for 23 apartments is up for sale for £675,000.

The old Elm Tree pub in Staveley is being marketed by Everard Cole.

Planning permission was approved by Chesterfield Borough Council on 7 December 2017 for the conversion of the pub to flats, including a two-storey rear extension and two detached buildings to form 23 self-contained flats.

Everard Cole director Jon Heald said: “Whilst known for its industrial heritage, Staveley is a popular and busy market town. The former Elm Tree site is ideally situated close to the numerous local shops, restaurants and pubs in the town, the Healthy Living Leisure Centre and Morrisons supermarket. With a growing population of over 18,000 the development will help meet the housing requirements of the area.”
