New champagne and prosecco garden set for Nottingham

Sam Benjamin in the new garden

Nottingham is set to get a new champagne and prosecco garden after plans were revealed by a city centre wine bar.

Sam Benjamin, owner of the self-serve Trinity Square-based venue Another? Wine Bar, is set to open the champagne and prosecco garden opens on 27th April:

“Self-serve wine is a completely new concept in Nottingham, but even we’ve been surprised by its popularity,” he said.

“So far, our team has sold more than 16,500 glasses – and we’re expecting that number to increase significantly when we open our new outdoor bar.

“We’ve introduced a mix of standard and high poseur tables to create a relaxed feel in the garden, while the speed bar will help ensure people are not left waiting on busy summer days. The space really lends itself to pop-up food events and live music, and we are also planning fine wine nights, ones that focus on a particular grape and food-and-drink pairings.”

Accommodating an extra 56 people, alongside the 60 seats indoors, the garden bar offers a selection of mini prosecco, both white and rosé champagne, and a range of beers from Estrella Galicia. In addition, customers can use the wine machines and take their drink outdoors and enjoy meats and cheeses hand-picked from the British Charcuterie Company.

The expansion of Another? Wine Bar has led to the creation of two new jobs, bringing the total number to six.
