TheBusinessDesk.com editor Sam Metcalf with the Press for Attention table

Over 170 professionals from Nottingham’s prestigious business community crowded into Notts County Football Club on Thursday 7thJune 2018 for the NPS Summer ball.

An annual event, the forthcoming World Cup was chosen as the theme for the evening.

Each table was assigned a specific country to represent and encouraged to dress in national costume. The judging for the wining costume was hard but in the end Mexico (Alea Casino) walked away with the ‘Golden Boot’ for their amazing sombrero and poncho outfits, with Spain (Press for Attention) coming in a close runner up dressed in their ‘zoro’ matador outfits. The ‘cheer off’ to decide who would win also included Boris from Russia (Fraser Brown), and France (Innes England) with onions and baguettes.
