Plans for new city centre pub get green light

Plans for a new pub which could create 11 jobs in Nottingham city centre have been granted planning consent by the City Council.

Bywater Restaurants, which has an address in Mansfield, now has the go-ahead to open up the ground floor and basement of the former Bunney’s Bikes unit to serve drinks and ‘charcuterie food’.

Bunney’s Bikes moved out of the unit seven months ago. It has been marketed by Spencer Birch, but according to documents seen by TheBusinessDesk.com no retail offers were forthcoming.

If granted planning permission, the as-yet-named pub will join Castle Rock’s Barley Twist on Carrington Street.
