Work to begin on Warwickshire commercial site

A CGI of Maricott Court

Work will start soon on the construction of the Maricott Court £3m industrial development in Southam, near Stratford on Avon, the first phase of which should be open by the final quarter of this year.

The three acre development consists of 13 new industrial and warehouse units, ranging from 1,873 sq ft up to 6,268 sq ft, two of which have already been sold off-plan and already under offer.

The development is being marketed by ehB Commercial of Leamington, whose director, Simon Hain said: “The Holywell Business Park has been a major success and we have every confidence that this final piece of the jigsaw will be no different. This development shows how buoyant the market is. We have further strong interest in this site and expect interest to grow as the industrial sector is one of the strongest-performing commercial property sectors at the moment.”

Maricott Court is the final phase of the site, which is adjacent to the Holywell Business Park, and is already home to Tesco, Find Me A Gift and The Tool Connection. The completion of the site indicates the strength and resilience of the commercial property market in Warwickshire.

Hain added: “Any development of this size promises a significant boost to the local economy, with the prospect of big-name companies moving in and creating jobs.”
