Business psychology firm expands operations

A FIRM of psychologists based in Coventry is expanding its business consultancy service by opening a new operation in Ireland.

The Centre of Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP), which was founded in 2005 and is based at The Venture Centre near the University of Warwick, now has two new recruits in Cork.

Julie McCall is an executive coach and trainer with over 25 years experience and Brenda Roche is a coach specialising in positive change in individuals, teams and organisations.

The pair joins a team of 14 consultants in Coventry and another two in India.

CAPP founder Professor Alex Linley said: “We are delighted with the appointment of Julie and Brenda. This marks a great step forward in CAPP’s long-term development programme.

“Over the past year we’ve seen increasing demand from all types of businesses seeking practical positive solutions to improve their people and performance.

“CAPP’s further expansion into Ireland represents a significant opportunity for growth.”

CAPP’s clients include AVIVA, Birmingham City Council, Ernst and Young, GlaxoSmithKline and Unilver.
