Jones Lang LaSalle to sell former police offices

REAL estate services company Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed to sell some former offices of Staffordshire Police.

The firm’s Birmingham office has been tasked with selling the freehold interest of the building in Cannock Road, Baswich, five miles south of Stafford town centre.

The Victorian building, which dates back to 1881, accommodated Staffordshire Police until their recent move to new headquarters closer to Stafford town centre next to the Staffordshire University campus.

The building called ‘Crossfields’ has approximately 5,573 sq ft of commercial office space and is located on a site of approximately 1.68 acres.

Jonathan Fear, director of office agency in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Birmingham office, said: “Currently used as offices, the building presents an ideal opportunity for refurbishment or redevelopment for a wide range of property uses.”

Staffordshire Police took up residence in its new headquarters in February this year with all staff due to vacate its previous HQ, close to Crossfields in Cannock Road, by April next year.
