SGH Martineau gets Coventry Council gig

LAW firm SGH Martineau has been appointed to act for Coventry City Council to provide commercial property and general litigation services for the next three years.

The work secured will include advising the council on sales, acquisitions and development activity.

Clive Read, a partner in the Birmingham-based firm’s real estate group who led the pitch and will head up its Coventry team, said: “There’s a great team of people at Coventry City Council who know what they want to achieve and have the vision, clear leadership and direction of how they need to get there.

“There’s an atmosphere of excitement in their drive to encourage investment to the area to build a great city for Coventry.”
