Leamington hotel group adds Honiley Court to its portfolio

LEAMINGTON Spa-based Talash Hotels has bought Honiley Court Hotel in Kenilworth for an undisclosed sum.

Talash already has hotels in Coventry, Leamington Spa and Walsall Wood.

Built in 1592, originally as a farmhouse and later a pub, Honiley Court has 62 bedrooms, a restaurant, conference facilities and The Boot Inn Pub.

Damian Beard and Stewart Coles from Black Country law firm Higgs & Sons advised Talash on the deal.

Their involvement included buying the business and the property and transferring the current employees into the new business.
 
Sanjay Kathuria, managing director of Talash Hotels, said:  “I can’t praise the team enough. They superseded all my expectations and I would say they were just as good as working with a top London firm.”
