eg secures £600,000 contract extension

STAFFORDSHIRE based financial software provider eg solutions has secured a new £600,000 order from one of its existing customers.

The Dunston firm said the order was a further contract extension with one of the largest bancassurance groups in the Nordic region.

The contract is for the use of the company’s eg operational intelligence suite in its Customer Services division.

AIM-listed eg said the deal followed previous successful implementations in the same group during the second half of 2009 and first half of 2010.  The contract extension is worth £55,000 in the current financial year to January 31, 2011 and a further £550,000 during the full contract term of five years.

Elizabeth Gooch, chief executive at eg, said: “This latest order is an excellent example of the progressive roll-out of our solution within major UK and international financial services businesses.”

The company will announce its interim results tomorrow.
