Threading and waxing business Brow Line has also joined the shopping centre, as has electronic cigarette shop VIP.

Three retailers have recently renewed leases, including; Warren James, Bodycare and Deichmann. Virgin Media has moved to a bigger unit from the upper mall, into the lower, Darley Mall.

Lease renewals have also been received from toiletries and cosmetics retailer Bodycare and footwear chain Deichmann.

Centre manager Catherine Riley commented: “The last few months have been busy at Kirkgate Shopping, with new stores, faces, renewals and shoppers. The variety of the shops in the centre cater to a wide range of customers. We are delighted with how things are shaping up and there are lots more exciting things to come throughout the year, so keep your eyes peeled.”

Bradford’s Kirkgate Shopping, formerly known as the Arndale Shopping Centre, first opened its doors in 1976 following a £4m investment by The Arndale Property Trust led by American-style mall pioneers, Arnold Hagenbach and Sam Chippendale.
