People: Law firm welcomes trio of recruits; Tax specialist adds to team; and more

Niche Sheffield HR and employment law solicitors Bhayani HR & Employment Law has added a trio of staff to its team.

The firm has welcomed Kathryn Mosely, Maria Elliot and Alice Bradshaw.

Mosely is Bhayani Law’s in-house specialist HR adviser and has a wealth of experience in employee relations, recruitment, employee development, training and leadership.

Elliot is an HR associate who works with clients to ensure they adopt robust, creative and workable procedures, including recruitment and selection, staff development and employee engagement.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw has joined as the firm’s new office administrator.

Elaine Raywood

East Yorkshire-based HMRC-handling and tax dispute specialist Independent Tax has recruited a senior associate with more than 20 years experience working for both HMRC and local accountancy firms.

Elaine Raywood, who previously worked at JWP Creers, will be based at the company’s headquarters at Brackenholme near Howden

Managing partner Gary Brothers said: “This is the latest in a series of recent appointments that we’ve made in response to growing demand from customers. I’m delighted that Elaine has joined us and know from working with her in the past that she’s a highly experienced, safe pair of hands who will complement our existing team really well.”

Alice Jones has been recruited by Hull creative agency Strawberry as an account manager, and George Holden as digital marketing executive.

Managing director Jonathan Leafe said: “Strawberry is constantly growing and we needed to take on another account executive and a digital marketing executive to ensure we were delivering the same high standards that our clients have come to expect from us. We’re delighted to have Alice and George on board.”

Strawberry, launched in 1993, is based in The Centre for Digital Innovation (C4DI) in Hull following a move from Strawberry Street in 2016.
