Agents appointed to 1.3m sq ft enterprise park

Knight Frank’s Leeds office has been appointed as letting agents for Humber Enterprise Park at Brough which comprises 1.3m sq ft of office and industrial space and 20 acres of development land.

The enterprise park is being developed by LC Industrial, a joint venture between LRE Capital and Leeds-based business specialist Citivale, and benefits from Enterprise Zone and Assisted Area Status, offering significant incentives to attract new occupiers.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner and office agency specialist with Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “This is a tremendous instruction for us. The Humber Enterprise Park is one of the most exciting developments in the region and we will be marketing the park’s state-of-the-art offices.

“We look forward to helping LC Industrial creating a new thriving business community with breath-taking views on the banks of the Humber. The refurbished offices look fantastic and are excellent value compared with Hull city centre. Taking into account the transport links to the park, and the facilities on site, this is an unrivalled office location in the region.”

James Appleton-Metcalfe, managing director of Citivale said, “We are delighted to welcome Knight Frank on board. Already our competitive rents and unrivalled working environment are proving attractive to a whole raft of different occupiers. For example, a company moving here and taking 5,000 sq ft of space, would save over £500,000 over a five-year period compared with other office developments in the area.

“The attraction of the park’s Enterprise Zone status with no business rates also means that occupiers can channel their savings into costs into investment. The site is also impressive from a visitor’s point of view and occupiers have already received very positive feedback from their clients, suppliers and customers.”

So far £6m has been spent on regenerating the whole site, described as “a jewel in the Humber’s crown” with another £1.2 m earmarked for further improvements. It is estimated that 1,600 new and sustainable jobs will be created when the park is fully developed during the next three years.
