Off-site construction firm secures place on £225m framework

Cleckheaton-based Elite Systems has secured a spot on an £225m education framework.

Fusion21’s Education Modular Buildings Framework is worth up to £225m over a four-year period, and now off-site specialist Elite has been appointed to it.

The company, which focuses on bespoke modular buildings, is one of nine companies on the framework.

As part of it, Elite Systems will have the opportunity to bid for projects worth millions of pounds.

Elite Systems managing director, Marcus Sutcliffe, said: “I am very happy to have been appointed to Fusion21’s framework, which will give us the opportunity to take our firm to the next level.

“We have a proven track record of manufacturing and installing educational buildings in a narrow timeframe, and are able to work around sites with limited access to make the best use of the space available. Our collaborative, tailored approach puts us in a good position to deliver successful projects under the framework.”

Sutcliffe continued: “Schools often require increased space at short notice with minimal disruption to pupils and staff, so modular construction is an ideal solution. Our bespoke approach to off-site construction means that we can deliver buildings that fit into any available space, and can be installed on-site during the summer holidays.”

75% of the buildings are manufactured on-site at Elite’s specialist factory, with only a few weeks spent on site for installation.
