West Yorkshire part of nationwide £2m gigabit trial

Telecoms operator aql will offer gigabit broadband to businesses in West Yorkshire under the Government’s newly-unveiled £2m Gigabit Voucher Scheme trial. Minister for Digital Matt Hancock visited aql’s HQ and main datacentre hub as part of the scheme’s launch. aql is registered under the scheme to provide both fibre and wireless gigabit connectivity. For some small and medium businesses, an upgrade to gigabit connectivity could mean an increase in speed of up to 50 times. It will allow them to benefit from faster uploads...
