Trampoline park jumps into former BHS site

Trampoline park operator Flip Out is set to launch at a South Yorkshire shopping centre in a unit previously occupied by retailer BHS.

Due to open in the spring, the unit at Frenchgate Shopping Centre in Doncaster is split over a 3,600 sq ft ground floor and a 24,700 sq ft basement that will include a trampolining arena, a café, and a ninja warrior course.

Meanwhile, Costa Coffee has regeared its lease and will be upsizing by almost a third, expanding into an adjacent unit to create a 2,500 sq ft café.

Completing this deal on the former BHS unit demonstrates our innovative and creative approach to leasing space and an asset strategy that is willing to be creative to ensure a high quality mixed offer. Frenchgate continues to further strengthen its position and operate as the area’s leading local shopping destination.”
