Sky Betting & Gaming CEO named best in the country

The chief executive of Leeds-headquartered Sky Betting & Gaming has been rated as the number one chief executive in the UK.

Richard Flint has been named as the top CEO in Glassdoor’s ‘Top 50 CEOs’ report, which states that Flint received an approval rating of 99%. The firm was rated 18th in the best companies to work for by recruiter Glassdoor in 2017.

Flint reflected on receiving the accolade, stating: “First and foremost I think the most important quality of a leader is to know yourself and be comfortable with who you are (and aren’t). This allows you to build a team that makes the most of your strengths and weaknesses, and gives you resilience if things aren’t going so well. It also helps you find your own style and approach that may be quite different from other leaders.

Robert Hohman, Glassdoor co-founder and CEO, said: “Winning a Glassdoor Top CEO award is a true acknowledgement of exceptional leadership, as it reflects the opinions of the employees who work with a chief executive every day. I congratulate all of this year’s winners on this significant achievement,” said

“It can be a real recruiting advantage to have a top-rated CEO at the helm of a company who has strong support from his or her employees. The best CEOs are inspiring, trustworthy, innovative and can be great motivators for people to bring their best selves to work.”
