Weekender: Leeds Rhinos forms new sponsorship deal for G&H Group

G&H Group, the building services provider, has teamed up with Leeds Rhinos to form a new sponsorship deal.

The partnership will include advertising on the new LED pitch-side perimeter display boards and use of the new Emerald Club – the 450-seater hospitality facility – to showcase G&H’s work at the stadium.

The Rhinos’ first Betfred Super League home game is on 1 March against Wakefield Trinity.

Graham Kelly, managing director at the G&H Group, said: “We have a long history of supporting local sport and a partnership with one of the biggest clubs in the world of Rugby League takes this commitment to a new level.

“We have been working on the Emerald Headingley Stadium redevelopment since the scheme started in 2017 providing all the building services to the Tetley’s South Stand, the combined rugby and cricket stand and the pavilion.

“The entire scheme will be completed in early summer and we are proud to have played a key part so the sponsorship will let us continue this association moving forward.”

The £45m Emerald Headingley Stadium redevelopment is a joint project between Yorkshire County Cricket Club and rugby league side Leeds Rhinos.

Rob Oates, Leeds Rhinos commercial director, added: “G&H Group have played a huge part in this iconic project and we are delighted that the association will continue through this new partnership. They are a great company to work with and have done a fantastic job at the stadium.”
