Four-acre farm site to go under the hammer

Greave Farm in Holmfirth is set to go under the hammer with an asking price of £350,000 – £380,000.

The site comprises a range of farm buildings with planning permission in place for the creation of a detached four bedroom home in over four-acres of land.

Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister company to Yorkshire Water, has appointed Wilbys Chartered Surveyors to take Greave Farm to public auction.

The property will be offered for freehold sale at an auction at on 19 March at the Waggon & Horses in Sheffield.

Cameron Sanderson, development surveyor at Keyland Developments, said; “Former Yorkshire Water properties such as these present a great opportunity for a buyer with vision to create a truly unique home in a hugely coveted location.

“By securing the planning consent to redevelop Greave Farm, we are ensuring that redundant properties such as this can be brought back into use and the proposed plans for this demonstrate that it could be an exceptional property.

“We are expecting high levels of interest at the auction and look forward to facilitating the re-use of this fantastic site.”
