Harper James Solicitors has expanded its dispute resolution team with the appointment of solicitor Mark Gudgeon.

Gudgeon, based in Sheffield, brings with him in excess of 15 years’ experience, including time with CMS (formerly Nabarro) and Freeths. He specialises in resolving commercial disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings for a wide range of commercial and public sector clients. Stand out areas of expertise for Gudgeon are public procurement challenges, reputational management, IT/technology disputes and complex contractual disputes.

Sheffield insolvency and business turnaround specialists Graywoods has appointed a new manager.

Danielle Shore was previously an assistant manager with the company which is based in Leopold Street.

“Graywoods specialises in helping businesses and individuals across the country to deal with debt and cash flow problems and Danielle is a vital part of that process,” said director Adrian Graham.

“Following her recent success passing her final examinations with the Joint Insolvency Examination Board, we knew that the time was right for her to move up to the next level.

BRM Solicitors have appointed a new director to its growing real estate department at its Sheffield office.

James Alger is an experienced commercial property lawyer, and joins BRM from regional law firm Keebles.

He said: “I am delighted to join BRM during an exciting period of growth. Along with the existing team, I am looking forward to contributing to the firm’s continuing growth and success and helping develop the BRM brand as a commercial force in the region.”

The appointment follows a successful year for the law firm. BRM opened the doors of its Sheffield office at the newly renovated Steel City House on West Street in early 2018, building on the success of its Chesterfield HQ.

Marketing consultancy Pure Agency has strengthened its creative team with the appointment of a new senior account manager Molly Denney.

Denney has joined Leeds-based Pure following a raft of new business wins and an increase in demand from existing clients for additional marketing services.

With more than five-years’ experience in the marketing industry, she has joined the Pure team from Intermarketing, where she led account teams and implemented campaigns for a host of high-profile clients, including Reebok, adidas, JD Sports, Footlocker and Sports Direct.
