Top Yorkshire insolvency practitioner launches new firm

A WELL-known Yorkshire  insolvency practitioner has launched a new practice in Leeds.
David Wilson, who has been an insolvency practitioner in the region for 33 years, has opened DFW Associates – a “boutique” insolvency and recovery practice.
The practice is based in Park Square, Leeds and will focus on financial solutions for both personal and corporate clients.
Mr Wilson was  a partner with an international firm of accountants before the 1989 formation of Wilson Pitts with business partner Julian Pitts. Begbies Traynor acquired Wilson Pitts in 2006.
The businessman said he now feels that clients require a more “personal and highly skilled” level of advice but at a cost that cannot be offered by the larger practices in the market.

“So many financial challenges have presented themselves to both businesses and individuals over the past decade and those problems continue,” he said.

Mr Wilson will have two new members of staff joining him.
