Leeds eatery adds some Gusto to the restaurant scene

GREEK STREET is about to see its second new bar and restaurant offering as the area gets a major revamp.

Gusto Restaurant and Bar is set to open there this summer.

The restaurant chain, which currently has 11 restaurants across the UK, including Cookridge will occupy the Ground floor of Pennine House in Greek Street.

The Gusto management were backed last year in a buyout by Palatine Private Equity to help the business roll-out its expansion plans across the UK.

There are plans for 5 new sites a year, with a view to building the estate to 25-30 venues. The business currently employs more than 400 staff across the various locations.

Sue Crimes, managing director of Gusto says: “This is a very exciting time for myself and the Gusto team – we are delighted to be opening a second restaurant in Leeds.

“Gusto is evolving as a brand and whilst we have changed the style of the décor a little and changed the logo a bit, the new Gusto has everything that our customers have come to expect from us and a little but more! Great food – excellent service and a great night out.”
