Appointments: Wilson Field, Park Place Corporate Finance, Twisted Automotive

BUSINESS recovery firm Wilson Field has appointed an associate director, Andy Wood, who has joined from the P&A Partnership.

He spent 17 years at P&A and has worked with small owner-managed businesses as well as large companies with multi-million pound turnovers.

Sheffield-based Mr Wood spoke to TheBusinessDesk.com on his appointment. He said: “I’ve been established in IP for 23 years, and with the move I was looking for a new challenge to keep focused on the job at hand.

“I have always seen Wilson Field as a progressive business and forward thinking. They have taken on challenges of modern media communications, an area we all have to grow on, excited to be part of.

“There’s still a great misunderstanding of what we do in the insolvency sector and what value we can add. There’s a misconception that we all come to work and love closing businesses down, when we actually love coming to work to find a solution, save jobs and help businesses move forward.”

Nick Wilson, managing director of Wilson Field, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andy to the team and look forward to his support in helping us take the company to the next level.”
Andy added: “Wilson Field is a young, evolving team which is embracing change and is dedicated to preserving businesses which in turn gives optimum results for all concerned – clients, creditors and employees. Part of my remit will be to develop that team further.
“I look forward to contributing to the ongoing business progression at Wilson Field.”
