Five more retailers sign on as The Broadway nears completion

FIVE more retailers are set to join the line up at shopping development The Broadway in Bradford.

Fashion and cosmetics firms Accessorize and The Body Shop join The Works and Occasions in the newest additions to the line up.

It includes Marks & Spencer, H&M, Debenhams, Next, New Look, JD Sports, Topshop, Topman and River Island.

The Broadway, which is due to open on Thursday 5 November, will create over 2,500 jobs in Bradford.

Keith Mabbett, director of Leasing at Westfield, said: “It gives me great pride to be able to announce five more great names have signed up to The Broadway.

“These new names mean that more than 80% of the retail space is committed and continue to show how The Broadway is attracting new retailers to Bradford City Centre.”

Cllr David Green, Leader of Bradford Council, said: “I’m delighted that The Broadway is now more than 80% let and more shops means more jobs and choice for people in the district.

“I’m sure people will be eager to take a look at the long-awaited shopping centre which is opening just seven weeks before Christmas.”
