100-strong engineering consultancy opens Manchester office

HULL-BASED engineering consultancy Alan Wood & Partners has embarked on its next phase of growth, opening its sixth regional office.

The Manchester base is located in Lowry House, between King Street and Market Street in Manchester M2.

Last year, the company announced major growth plans. At the time it had a turnover of £6m, but with predicted 10-20% growth year-on-year, the firm is expecting strong results this year.

Director Andrew Russell is spearheading this new venture.

Nick Ward, managing director of Alan Wood & Partners, said the move into Manchester marked very exciting times in the business. “This new office supports the aspirational growth plans we have for our business and with Andrew at the helm we are confident it will be successful.”

Alan Wood & Partners provide design and advisory services in building consultancy. It employs 100 people across the company’s offices.
