Property People: Property firms make raft of promotions; Former Deloitte surveyor to head valuation team

THE Leeds office of CBRE has made seven promotions following a record financial year which has seen the teams play major roles in some of the region’s most high profile transactions and projects.

Within the Building Consultancy team, Richard Bamford has moved up as executive director and James Forth has been promoted to director.

Nick Marsden has been promoted to director within the Rating team and Jacques Esterhuizen has been promoted to associate director in Industrial Agency.

In Property and Asset Management, Lee Robertshaw and Nina Bradley are now senior surveyors and Lauren Spencer has been promoted to senior surveyor within the Valuation team.

Leeds MD and executive director, Richard Sunderland, said: “The Leeds office continues to go from strength to strength with our busy teams working on a broad range of high-profile projects across the region and securing the record deals of the last year. This success is reflected in our turnover which increased by 5% resulting in yet another record year for the office. In recognition for their hard work and dedication, we have promoted several of the team and look forward to assisting the continued career progression of these talented individuals.”

Matthew Scrimshaw of LSHA RAFT of promotions have also been announced at Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

The company, which has teams in Sheffield and Leeds, has seen six promotions across the region this spring including four new associate directors and two senior surveyors.
 
In Leeds, Davina Blandford has been promoted to associate director in the Property Management team alongside Christine Robinson (Quality Assurance) and Nicola Bulley (Marketing Communications). Building consultancy surveyor Caroline Fattorini has been promoted to senior surveyor.
 
In Sheffield, agency surveyors Tom Shelton and Tom Burlaga have been promoted to associate director and senior surveyor respectively.

Bruce Allan Carter JonasCARTER JONAS has appointed Bruce Allan as partner and head of valuations in Leeds, working within its commercial team.

Mr Allan, who will be based out of Carter Jonas’ Northern office, will work closely with the teams across the country, bringing more than 27 years of specialist valuation experience to the role.

He joins from Deloitte, where he led the real estate valuations department in the Middle East. Prior to this, he held the position of director of valuation consultancy at GVA Bilfinger in Leeds.

Mr Allan has an extensive knowledge of valuation and development appraisals across the commercial property sector including in leisure and education. He has provided valuation services to the main high street banks, building societies, specialist funders, developers, local authorities, government departments and directly to business across the UK.
