Nightspot to create 50 jobs with £850,000 investment
PLANS to invest £850,000 to open a Bar & Beyond venue in Sheffield have been unveiled by club operator The Deltic Group in a move which will create 50 jobs.
The venue on West Street, which has a capacity of 665, will open on Friday September 16.
Shoreditch-inspired Bar & Beyond will feature walls of graffiti art, skull imagery and modern sculptures.
Bar & Beyond Sheffield will be open from 5pm seven days a week, serving food and drink, while later on in the evenings the bar transforms into a club which is open until the early hours.
General manager David Burgess said: “I’m really excited to be bringing Bar & Beyond to my home town. It’s a unique concept that gives customers the choice between a fun evening with food and a wide choice of drinks, or to stay out and party the night away. There’s nothing like it in Sheffield and I’m confident it will be a massive hit.”
In preparation for its launch, the club is recruiting for a variety of roles including front of house, bar teams and hosts.
“We’re looking for talented people with a passion for customer service. Bar & Beyond is all about creating a fantastic night out and we want to build a team that does just that,” added Mr Burgess.
