Creative/Digital: Agency boosts festival with new website; Waverley nets sports contract; Wolfstar gets in gear for US firm; and more

THE Saltaire Festival is the owner of a new website thanks to a donation by marketing agency Xpand.

The full-service agency based in Saltaire re-designed and built the site as part of its CSR efforts. The website will help the popular festival attract visitors and promote its numerous events around the World Heritage Site and surrounding areas.

Jag Panesar, director at Xpand, said: “We’re keen to support local initiatives and have been active in raising money and providing services for many worthwhile causes over the years.

“When we found out that the festival was looking for a new website, we were quick to get involved. Since inception the festival has grown and grown and for us to be able to give something back to our community is the icing on the cake.”

Ros Garside, chair of the Saltaire Festival board, said: “From our initial discussions it was clear that Xpand understood what we were looking for and the team has been great to work with.

“The website has exactly the right look and is also very user-friendly on mobiles and tablets, which was a key aspiration for the re-design. We are confident it will attract visitors and encourage them to find out more about the Festival.”
