Leeds Chamber takes up new residence

THE Leeds Chamber of Commerce has made the move to another LS1 postcode on St Paul’s Street.

The Chamber has taken a lease on 2,200 sq ft on the fifth floor of Carlton Tower.

This marks the lettings completion of the site, which is owned and managed by St Bride’s Managers.

Andrew Robertson, Leeds Chamber of Commerce’s property director commented: “We are highly delighted with our new premises; they are very smart and favourable for providing the quality professional services we offer to local businesses. We help businesses to thrive and grow and it’s important that we have the right environment to do that in.”

St Bride’s Managers’ partner, Ian Houston, commented: “Leeds Chamber does great work with the local business community and we are extremely pleased to have them as tenants.

“The market for premises like Carlton Tower remains buoyant, evidenced by us also attracting two other new tenants within the last twelve months and agreeing lease renewals with a number of existing tenants including Gent Visick, Bagel Nash and DX Network Services.

“We are keen to invest further in other similarly high-quality office, retail and industrial premises in Leeds.”

Philip Shopland-Reed, senior surveyor at Carter Towler said: “Carlton Tower will be an excellent new home for the Chamber of Commerce. It’s in a great, central location and the building has recently been significantly revamped, with the reception, common parts, lift and fifth floor suite all being fully refurbished.”
