£1m office refurbishment brings letting success

Two new occupiers have been attracted to a business park in Leeds which is undergoing a £1m refurbishment.

Asset Finance UK and Arterius have taken 1,300 sq ft and 1, 900 sq ft of office space respectively at Lawnswood Business Park, joining occupiers including Fuel Card Services, Aramark, British Medical Association, Bupa and accountants BHP.

Asset manager Canmoor’s £1m refurbishment programme of the 147,355 sq ft site is currently underway and includes a new café.

Dan Austin, asset manager at Canmoor, said: “Our vision for Lawnswood Business Park is to provide a high quality space, which occupiers continually want, at a very affordable rent on flexible lease terms.

“Much of the existing office stock in north Leeds is dated making Lawnswood Business Park ideally positioned to capitalise on already high levels of demand from organisations reviewing their property requirements in view of forthcoming lease events or who are looking to upgrade their offices.”

The Leeds offices of property advisers JLL and WSB are acting as joint agents on Lawnswood Business Park.
