Bespoke experience brand hopes to rival Red Letter Days

Dragon’s Den’s entrepreneurs Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis may not be quaking in their boots just yet, but according to Minoti Parikh, owner of growing bespoke experience company, they soon will be.

Established 16 months ago with the help of The Prince’s Trust, This Pampered Life was created to offer tailored packages specifically designed to each customer’s requirements.

Having moved over from India just three years ago with vast experience in corporate events, Minoti said: “The UK is definitely one of the best countries for start-ups, especially in terms of the abundant support you have access to. I started This Pampered Life because I saw an opportunity to offer something unique”

Minoti promotes the services of over 150 local vendors from across the county, with the belief that Yorkshire has a lot to offer national and international travellers as well as locals.

She added: “The increasing focus on Yorkshire and the constant rise in service based small businesses across UK has helped us grow substantially since our launch.

“One client with an obvious romantic streak had me arrange a very individual experience.” The three-part event saw the couple begin with afternoon tea, followed by a personal tour of an old architectural gem and to top it all off, a soft candle lit gourmet dinner for two.

“At the highest point of the architectural gem he went down on his knee to propose. It’s great when clients are happy to explore ‘out of the box’ ideas like organising a photo shoot at quaint country side locations in Yorkshire or taking a day trip to study the history of the Industrial towns of our region.”
