People: RSM adds to tax practice; FD hire for law firm; and more
Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has strengthened its tax practice by appointing a new associate director in its Leeds office.
Liz Rogers joins RSM from BHP where she headed up the trusts and estates practice following 10 years working within the personal tax and trust team in a Big Four firm.
In her new role, she will provide compliance and advisory support for a growing number of private clients to manage tax, wealth and succession planning, while working with the Yorkshire private client team to grow the practice and its offering.

Law firm Rollits has appointed Jonathon Wells as director of finance and operations.
Wells will be responsible for all aspects of the finance as well as the management of the firm’s insurance portfolio and other compliance obligations.
He succeeds Donald Robertson, who retired from the firm after 26 years in the role of finance director and Wilf Fowler, the current director of administration who will retire at the end of March following almost 19 years’ service.

Travel management company Redfern, part of CTM Group, has bolstered its senior management team with a key appointment.
Greg Mannix joins Bradford-based Redfern as head of sales and brings more than 15 years’ travel industry experience with him, most recently as head of corporate at Laterooms.com.
The new appointment comes as Redfern’s private sector clients continue to increase with household names such as Hallmark Cards, Holland and Barrett and Bonmarché choosing to use Redfern.
In late 2016, Redfern was acquired by global group, CTM which makes CTM one of the seven largest TMCs in the UK.
