The Spending Review Survey – Have your say

THE Spending Review brought promises of new infrastructure and a commitment from Government to focus its limited resources on spending that would support economic growth.
Analysts have also been quick to identify new opportunities for companies to exploit as the public sector retreats from areas it has dominated over the last decade and looks for ways to provide services in a more cost effective way.
But in a region where one in five people are employed directly by the state and large numbers of firms benefiting from public sector contracts, average departmental spending cuts of almost a fifth will inevitably have an impact.
In partnership with leading law firm DWF, TheBusinessDesk.com now wants to find out what the Spending Review means for you and your company through our quick survey.
James Haddleton, executive partner in DWF’s Leeds office, said: “The Comprehensive Spending Review survey provides a great opportunity to find out the opinion and thoughts of business leaders in the region, now that the dust has settled and people have had a chance to digest all the information. What are the issues affecting businesses in the region?
“By completing this short survey, we should gain a better understanding of and insight into what people really think.”
The survey will take just minutes to complete and by taking part you will offer valuable insight into how the Yorkshire economy will respond to the new economic landscape.
