East Midlands accountancy and business advisory firm Smith Cooper has added to its corporate finance with the appointment of Christopher Campbell.

Campbell, who joins the firm as an analyst, graduated from the University of Greenwich with a BSc in IT Management with Business.

Whilst being primarily based in Smith Cooper’s Nottingham office, Campbell will also operate from Derby and Birmingham. His priority will be researching and contacting potential business contacts, alongside project support.

He said: “I am thrilled to be part of the growing team at Smith Cooper. There are exciting times ahead and I am looking forward to being part of the journey.”

Corporate finance partner Dan Bowtell said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to Smith Cooper Corporate Finance at such an exciting time. 2016 was the second best year for global deals since 2005 and our team continues to grow and prosper.”

Nottingham-based Russell Ulyatt Financial Services says that its managing director is amongst the highest qualified advisers in the UK after being awarded a Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), the professional body for the financial planning community and part of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Andy Dyke has been awarded the Fellowship after completing a range of exams and providing documented evidence of his continuous professional development to the CII.

Dyke said: “Being awarded a Fellowship demonstrates the depth of knowledge and professional expertise I have gained in my career. I am delighted to have my competence externally validated through a series of challenging assessments by the CII.”
