On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham-based supplier of fabrics and window décor products Jones Interiors has taken on Lindsy Wilson as head of product design and corporate accounts.

She will work with high street names developing bespoke pieces and curating ranges.

“Jones Interiors has a fantastic heritage and I am proud to have joined this vibrant business,” said Wilson. “During 25 years in the sector I have worked at every level, from sales, to purchasing, design and overseeing corporate clients.

“My new role at Jones will allow me to focus on what I love doing the most which is partnering with customers to produce exciting product ranges that are aligned with their brand and loved by the consumer.”

Chesterfield-based Mitchells Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers has swelled its ranks further

with the appointment of Dominic Day, from Walton, as a trainee accountant.

The former Brookfield Community School pupil studied Accounting and Finance at Leeds Beckett University before graduating and taking up the role at Mitchells.

Day joins Mitchells’ Corporate Services team, where he will also be studying towards chartered accountant status over the next three years.

He said: “Joining Mitchells was a fantastic opportunity for me to advance my career and a stepping stone to becoming a chartered accountant. As part of my role within the Corporate Services team, I am looking forward to getting to know the business as well as the clients that we provide services for.”
