New gin bar set for Derby

A Nottingham gin bar is expanding into Derby after being granted planning permission for a fit-out of city centre premises.
The Derby Telegraph reports that Gincident will bring more than 150 different gins to its new venue in the Strand Arcade, off Salder Gate. It is thought the bar will be open this summer.
Gincident opened its Nottingham bar last year when the owners of the Three Crowns in Ruddington, John Noble and Max Harman, converted a former hearing aid centre of Friar Lane into a gin venue, in a deal brokered by Jonathon Seddon at NG Chartered Surveyors.
Harman and Noble have been in charge of the Three Crowns in Ruddington since mid-2013. The pair also own the BarSix wine and cocktail bar in Ruddington.
