Sports Direct confirms £120m HQ buildings sale

Sports Direct has confirmed that it is selling its head office properties in Shirebrook in a deal worth £120m.

The company says it will offload Units A, B, C, D and F at Brook Park East to KWAA Logix Sportivo.

Sports Direct will, on completion, take a 15 year lease of the property and intends to continue to operate it as a distribution centre, offices and retail. The firm says intends to use the proceeds of sale towards the working capital.

Completion is expected to occur on or before 21 June 2019
